I couldn't resist starting my "Sunday = baking day" a little early. I made my first apple pie last night and remarkably it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I have a very odd love-hate relationship with Martha Stewart and lately it's been more love (mainly because I've taken a hiatus from her crafts and just stuck to cooking). Homemade crust and amazing apples from a local orchard made this apple pie mouthwatering and completely delicious! That's one more thing crossed off my list, several other things are in progress or just beginning, I think I'm off to a great start 1 month into fall. Two more months to go till the official start of winter and hopefully by Tuesday I'll have 1/3 of my list mostly completed.
